The SUBTUNE Midterm Workshop will offer a scientific platform for anyone involved or interested in tunable lasers.

SUBTUNE Midterm is an open strategic high-tech meeting, which is international in scope and yet highly focused on the issues of tunable VCSEL technologies, regarding various applications from telecommunications and gas sensing to Fiber Bragg Grating sensing.

The workshop will also provide the opportunity to meet high-profile speakers and to become part of an unrivalled network. It offers the chance to find out all about today's and tomorrow's innovations in tuneable VCSELs.

What SUBTUNE is: SUBTUNE (Widely Tunable VCSEL using Sub-wavelength Gratings) is a 3-year multi-disciplinary European project (April 2008 - April 2011), which wants to promote the development and implementation of technological innovations in optical components and subsystems. The workshop will provide information on this on-going research topic of high application relevance as well as giving you the opportunity to give us feedback on laser parameters your application would require.
