The third Scientific EOS Annual Meeting (EOSAM 2010) will be held in Paris, France, from 26 - 29 October 2010 alongside the PRI-OPTO exhibition (26 - 28 October). Previous meetings took place in 2008 and 2006 with more than 650 attendees. Participate in EOSAM 2010 and take this excellent opportunity to exchange new ideas and latest research results!

Abstract submission
Authors are requested to submit an extended abstract of a minimum of one page and a maximum of two pages with at least one figure. The abstract must be formatted according to the EOS abstract guidelines, which can be downloaded at www.myeos.org/system/files/abstractguidelines.pdf.
Contributions will be accepted for oral and poster presentation. Please indicate your preference. All accepted contributions are to be published on the EOSAM 2010 digest CD-ROM (ISBN numbered) which will be available on-site.
At least one author is requested to register for the meeting separately from abstract submission.
Abstracts can only be submitted online via this webiste.
Abstract submission opens on 19 April 2010. If you wish to be informed when the submission opens, send an e-mail to paris@myeos.org.
Submission deadline
The deadline for abstract submission is 7 June 2010.
Paper publication in JEOS:RP
Attendees of this EOS Event receive a 20% discount on the publication rate for the Journal of the European Optical Society - Rapid Publications (JEOS:RP). The paper submitted must be an original contribution that is connected to this topical meeting and must be submitted no later than 14 January 2011.
JEOS:RP is a peer-reviewed open-access journal focusing on European research in optics and photonics. [www.jeos.org]
Special publication rates for the attendees of EOSAM 2010:
• 320 € (instead of 400 €) for non-members
• 280 € (instead of 350 €) for full-members

EOSAM 2010 will again be held alongside an exhibition to bridge the gap between science and industry: PRI-OPTO, from 26 - 28 October 2010.

Lab tour to the “Laboratoire Charles Fabry de l’Institut d’Optique”
The “Institut d’Optique Graduate School” is pleased to offer the visit of its laboratory, the “Laboratoire Charles Fabry de l’Institut d’Optique” on 25 October 2010 (one day before EOSAM 2010 starts).
Visitors will be picked up by bus at the train station “RER B Massy-Palaiseau” around 1:30 pm and will be released at the same station around 6:00 pm. This is the fastest and easiest way to travel between the “Institut d’Optique”, Paris and the airports. More information will be sent to the registered visitors by email. The participation in the lab tour is free-of-charge.

ICO Galileo Galilei Award Ceremony
The EOS Annual Meeting 2010 will host the ICO Galileo Galilei Award Cermony. Date tbd.
