Instrumentation and Methods; Materials Science and Life Science are the topics of the Microscopy Conference MC 2011 which will be held at Kiel, Germany. Abstract Submission Deadline: 31 March 2011.
This congress will be jointly organised by the German Society for Electron Microscopy (DGE), in collaboration with the European Microscopy Society (EMS), the Nordic Microscopy Society (SCANDEM), the Polish Microscopy Society (PTMi), and with scientists from research institutions in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and St. Petersburg, Russia.
The venue of the meeting will be the Christian-Albrechts-University (CAU) at Kiel – 550 participants are expected.
The programme addresses current developments in the three major topical areas Instrumentation and Methods, Materials Science, and Life Sciences.
Plenary lectures presented by world leading experts, workshops with specialised topics, and numerous symposia with ample time scheduled for poster discussions are part of this exciting programme. The conference will also host a major trade exhibition which will bring together manufacturers of equipment and products in all fields of microscopy and related techniques and offer extensive information on recent developments for the field of microscopy.
